IOCOB Foundation develops and supports innovative research and teaching in the field of complementary therapies and provide impartial information. For the development of innovative research IOCOB can rely on scientific advisers working within various University institutions.
The cooperation of IOCOB scientific advisers and is characterized by the following events
- The scientific adviser gives advice on the methodology and / or feasibility of the administration of IOCOB presented research in the field of the effectiveness of CAM therapeutic linterventions.
- The consultant commented on proposals by the board of the foundation on how one can apply the principles of "evidence-based medicine ‘on the areas of IOCOB.
- The consultant has no responsibility for the selection of research projects by the board of the Foundation or the implementation of the project
- The board is responsible for the content of the website of the foundation
- Also the board will at least once a year report to the consultants on relevant developments within IOCOB in the field of which the advice was given.
The opinions of the advisers are confidential and the Foundation will not disclose the advice without written permission. Also the board will abstain from the (implicit) use of the name of a consultant in communications with third parties, with the exception of actual announcements about what is stated above. |
